Our Warhammer Club is a creative and practical club where children can explore the world of miniature modelling through building, painting, designing, storytelling and strategy games.
Children will learn how to carefully assemble and paint miniature models, create imaginative scenery and develop their own stories and battles. The club provides a great combination of art, creativity, construction, problem-solving and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.
The emphasis is on creativity, learning new skills and enjoying the hobby, with activities adapted to suit children's ages and experience.

Children may take part in:

🖌️ Miniature Painting Skills
Children will be introduced to a range of painting techniques, such as:
Base coating
Layering
Highlighting
Creating simple shadows and depth
Dry brushing
Detail painting
Colour blending
Pattern and symbol painting
Painting scenery and terrain
Children will be encouraged to experiment and develop their own colour schemes rather than simply copying a finished model.

📚 What learning takes place?
Warhammer Club provides learning opportunities across art, design, construction, literacy, maths and problem-solving.
Children will develop their understanding of colour, tone, shading, proportion, texture and composition through miniature painting. Working on small models encourages concentration, precision and careful hand movements.
Building models introduces children to basic construction and design principles. They will learn how individual pieces can be combined to create a larger structure and how to follow instructions carefully.
Creating scenery and miniature worlds provides opportunities to explore scale, measurement, shape and spatial awareness.
Storytelling and character development encourage children to use their imagination, vocabulary and communication skills. They can invent characters, locations, histories and adventures for their miniature worlds.
Where tabletop games are introduced, children will develop strategic thinking, decision-making, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. They will learn to follow rules, plan ahead and consider different possible outcomes.
Working with others encourages teamwork, communication, cooperation and good sportsmanship, while friendly challenges help children develop resilience and learn how to respond positively to both success and setbacks.

Warhammer Club provides a fantastic opportunity for children to explore miniature modelling, painting and imaginative world-building while developing a wide range of practical and creative skills.
Whether they are completely new to miniature modelling or already enjoy painting and creating, children can work at their own level and develop their skills over time.
💷 Fee: Block bookings are £6.25 per week or ad-hoc bookings are £7.00 per session
📌 Spaces: Limited spaces available – early booking is recommended.
Activities and projects will be adapted to suit children's ages, abilities and experience. Suitable models, paints and materials will be used under adult supervision. Any games will be age-appropriate and focus on creativity, strategy, teamwork and fun.
