Our Art Hub Club is a fun and creative club designed to encourage children to develop their drawing skills, explore different artistic techniques and, most importantly, have fun creating art.
The club will include guided drawing activities inspired by the popular family-run YouTube channel Art for Kids Hub, where children can follow along with step-by-step drawing lessons and learn how to draw a wide variety of fun and exciting pictures.
From animals and characters to seasonal pictures and imaginative creations, every session offers children the chance to create something they can be proud of.

The exact drawings will vary, giving children plenty of opportunities to try different subjects and styles.

As well as guided drawing sessions, children may explore other creative activities, including:

📚 What learning takes place?
The club supports children's development across art, design, communication and fine motor skills.
Through guided drawing activities, children will learn how pictures can be built up from simple shapes, lines and forms. They will practise breaking a more complicated picture into manageable steps, helping them understand how artists can develop an image from basic elements.
Children will explore line, shape, form, proportion, pattern, colour and composition. They will learn how changing the size, position and shape of different elements can alter the appearance of their artwork.
Following the Art for Kids Hub lessons also helps children develop their ability to listen carefully, follow instructions and work through a process in sequence.
Drawing and colouring activities support fine motor development, pencil control and hand-eye coordination, while detailed pictures encourage concentration and careful observation.
Children will also develop problem-solving and perseverance. They may discover that their picture doesn't look exactly like the example, but will learn that artwork can be individual and that there is no need for every drawing to be identical.
As children become more confident, they will be encouraged to move beyond following instructions and begin making their own creative choices, developing their own characters, pictures and ideas.

With the support of guided drawing lessons inspired by Art for Kids Hub, children can learn new drawing techniques while exploring a huge variety of fun subjects.
The club is suitable for children who already love drawing as well as those who are just beginning to discover their artistic abilities.
💷 Fee: block bookings are £6.25 per week or £7.00 for an ad-hoc session
📌 Spaces: Limited spaces available – early booking is recommended.
Drawing subjects and activities will vary from session to session and will be adapted to suit children's ages and abilities. Art for Kids Hub is a family-run YouTube channel used as an inspiration and teaching resource for selected guided drawing activities.
