Learn to stitch, get creative and make something wonderful!
Our Stitch Club is a fun, creative and relaxing after-school club where children can discover the world of stitching through a variety of enjoyable, hands-on activities.
Each session will introduce children to different stitching techniques, patterns and creative projects, allowing them to develop their skills at their own pace. Whether they are completely new to stitching or already have some experience, there will be activities to challenge and inspire everyone.

🧠 What learning takes place?
Stitching activities help children develop a wide range of valuable skills, including:
Fine motor skills – developing finger control and dexterity through threading and stitching.
Hand-eye coordination – carefully guiding thread and working with small materials.
Concentration and focus – following patterns and completing detailed activities.
Patience and perseverance – learning that good results can take time and practice.
Following instructions – learning new techniques and working through projects step by step.
Counting and pattern recognition – counting stitches and following simple patterns.
Creativity and design – choosing colours, patterns and creating individual designs.
Problem-solving – working out how to correct mistakes and complete projects.
Confidence and independence – making creative choices and developing a new skill.
Attention to detail – carefully working on small and detailed designs.

Every session will provide children with the opportunity to learn, create, practise and have fun while developing a valuable practical skill.
💷 Session Fees
Regular bookings are £6.25 per session or ad-hoc bookings are £7.00 per session
