Our Edible Crafts After School Club is a fun, creative and hands-on club where children can turn everyday food and edible ingredients into exciting works of art! Each week, children will have the opportunity to make a different edible creation, encouraging them to use their imagination while learning new skills in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
The club is packed with creative activities where children can design, make, decorate and enjoy their own edible crafts.
🍭 What might we create?
Activities will vary throughout the sessions and could include:

🍕 Mini edible pizzas designed as faces, animals or characters
🍓 Fruit animals and colourful fruit creations
🐛 Edible caterpillars and insects
🌈 Rainbow fruit kebabs
🥪 Fun and creative sandwiches
🐠 Edible sea creatures
🦖 Dinosaur-themed edible creations
🏠 Edible houses and buildings
🌸 Edible flowers and garden scenes
🎃 Seasonal and celebration-themed food crafts
🍫 Chocolate and cereal creations
🧁 Food-based characters and pictures
🍪 Decorated cookies and edible decorations
Children will be encouraged to add their own ideas and designs, making each creation unique.

📚 What learning takes place?
Although the club is primarily about having fun and being creative, there is lots of learning taking place throughout each session.
Children will learn about food hygiene and safety, including the importance of washing hands, keeping surfaces clean and handling food appropriately. They will also develop an understanding of different ingredients, textures, colours, shapes and flavours.
The activities provide opportunities to practise measuring, counting, sorting, sequencing and following instructions, while creative challenges encourage children to problem-solve and think about how they can construct their designs.
The club also supports children's social and emotional development, helping them to build confidence, express their ideas, make independent choices and celebrate their achievements.

Whether your child enjoys baking, making, designing, experimenting or simply getting creative, Edible Crafts Club provides a wonderful opportunity to learn through play and practical activities.
💷 Fee: Block bookings are £6.25 per week or ad-hoc bookings are £7.00 a session
📌 Spaces: Limited spaces available – early booking is recommended.
