📚 What learning takes place?
Field Games Club provides valuable opportunities for children to develop both physical and social skills.
Children will learn how to follow rules and instructions, listen to others, take turns and understand the importance of fair play. Team games encourage communication, cooperation and problem-solving as children work together towards a shared goal.
Children will also develop their gross motor skills, coordination, balance, agility and spatial awareness through running, jumping, throwing, catching and moving safely around the playing area.
The club also helps children understand the importance of being active, looking after their bodies and enjoying regular physical activity.
Most importantly, children learn that sport and physical activity can be enjoyable, inclusive and something they can participate in with confidence.
