Our Comic Book Club is a fun and creative after-school club where children can explore the exciting world of comics through arts, crafts, drawing and storytelling.
Children will have the opportunity to design their own characters, create comic strips, develop story ideas and experiment with different artistic styles. They can use their imagination to create heroes, villains, funny characters, adventures and completely original worlds.
The club is designed to encourage children to express themselves creatively while developing valuable literacy, art and social skills.

Comic book activities support children in developing:
Literacy skills β creating characters, developing stories, writing dialogue and using descriptive language.
Drawing skills β exploring characters, expressions, settings and illustrations.
Fine motor skills β through drawing, cutting, colouring, sticking and crafting.
Creativity and imagination β inventing characters, adventures and imaginary worlds.
Communication skills β sharing ideas and talking about their stories.
Problem-solving β thinking about how a story develops and what happens next.
Concentration and patience β working on detailed comic pages and projects.
Confidence and self-expression β encouraging children to develop and share their own ideas.
Sequencing skills β understanding how pictures and events work together to tell a story.

Every session will encourage children to draw, create, imagine and tell their own stories in a fun and supportive environment.

Block bookings are Β£6.25 per week or ad-hoc bookings are Β£7.00 per session
