Learn to cross stitch, get creative and make something beautiful!
Our Cross Stitch Club is a fun, creative and relaxing after-school club where children can learn the traditional craft of cross stitching through a variety of enjoyable, hands-on activities.
Each session will introduce children to different cross stitch techniques, patterns and projects. Children will have the opportunity to work with colourful threads, discover how to follow simple patterns and gradually develop their skills while creating their own unique designs.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or already enjoys cross stitching, the club provides a friendly and supportive environment where they can learn, practise and have fun.

🧠 What learning takes place?
Cross stitching supports children in developing a wide range of skills, including:
Fine motor skills – strengthening finger control and dexterity through threading and stitching.
Hand-eye coordination – carefully placing stitches and working with thread and fabric.
Concentration and focus – staying focused while following patterns and completing designs.
Counting and maths skills – counting stitches and understanding positions on a grid.
Pattern recognition – learning to follow symbols, colours and repeated patterns.
Following instructions – developing the ability to work through a project step by step.
Patience and perseverance – understanding that detailed projects take time and practice.
Problem-solving – working out how to correct mistakes and continue a pattern.
Creativity and self-expression – choosing colours and exploring different designs.
Confidence and independence – developing a new practical skill and making creative decisions.

Every session will give children the chance to learn, stitch, create and develop a skill they can enjoy for years to come.
💷 Session Fees
Block booking are £6.25 per week or ad-hoc bookings are £7.00 per session
