Our Vision and Values

At Cubbington, our vision is rooted in the profound truths of the Christian faith, centred on creation, incarnation, the Trinity, love, salvation, and reconciliation.

Our aims are as simple as "ABC" - Achieving, Belonging, Caring, and we believe that accomplishing these requires courage.

'Be courageous for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go'     Joshua 1:9

Explanation of our Theologically Rooted Vision

We recognise the diverse circumstances of the individuals and families in our school community. With courage and commitment, we embrace these differences, and are dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.

We believe that God, as the Creator, has made each individual uniquely and wonderfully. Embracing the incarnation, we see the presence of Jesus Christ in every member of our community. With the guidance of the Trinity, we foster an environment of love, to reflect God's love for us. Through this love, we seek to offer salvation and reconciliation, transforming lives so that everyone can achieve their full potential, feel a deep sense of belonging, and care for one another as God intended.

Our Core Values

To support our vision, we have selected nine core Christian values which link to our “ABC” - Achieving, Belonging and Caring.

We actively teach these values to our children, through our curriculum, assemblies, behaviour policy and our day-to-day interactions within the school community. Our school celebrates children who demonstrate these core values, and rewards them with certificates.

Our vision and values are engrained in everything we do. They drive the direction of our school and are at the heart of what we do to improve educational outcomes for all our children. Living out these values within our school and community enables everyone to meet our “ABC” aims – Achieving, Belonging and Caring.
