Our exciting Space Club takes children on an out-of-this-world adventure as they explore planets, stars, astronauts, rockets and the amazing universe around us! Through a mixture of creative activities, experiments, games and hands-on projects, children can discover fascinating facts about space while having lots of fun.

🌎 What will children learn?

During Space Club, children will develop their knowledge and understanding of:

  • 🌞 The Sun, Moon and planets in our Solar System

  • 🪐 The different planets and their characteristics

  • 🌙 The phases of the Moon

  • ⭐ Stars, constellations and galaxies

  • 🚀 Rockets, space travel and astronauts

  • 👩‍🚀 What life is like for astronauts in space

  • 🌍 Earth and its place within the Solar System

  • ☄️ Asteroids, comets and meteors

  • 🔭 Telescopes and how scientists explore space

  • 🛰️ Satellites and space technology

  • 🧑‍🔬 Famous space missions and discoveries

Children will be encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, investigate ideas and develop their understanding of scientific concepts through age-appropriate activities.

🎨 What activities might we do?

Every session can offer something different, with activities such as:

  • Creating our own Solar System models

  • Designing and building rockets

  • Making planet paintings and space artwork

  • Creating moon and crater experiments

  • Designing astronaut helmets and space suits

  • Making constellations and star pictures

  • Creating space-themed crafts and decorations

  • Building 3D planets

  • Making alien and UFO models

  • Exploring how and why rockets launch

  • Taking part in space-themed quizzes and games

  • Making moon-phase wheels

  • Creating space-themed stories and comic strips

  • Exploring the idea of life on other planets

  • Designing our own imaginary planets

  • Completing fun space challenges and experiments

  • Learning about famous astronauts and space missions

Space Club is designed to encourage children's curiosity, creativity and love of learning. Alongside developing their knowledge of space and science, children will have opportunities to:

  • Practise teamwork and communication

  • Develop fine-motor skills through practical and craft activities

  • Gain confidence through hands-on challenges

💷 Fees & Booking

Block bookings are £6.25 per session or ad-hoc bookings are £7.00 per session

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
