Jewellery Making Club
Create, design, sparkle and make something special! ✨📿
Our Jewellery Making After School Club is a fun and creative club where children can explore their imagination while designing and making their own unique jewellery and accessories.
Children will learn how to use a variety of beads, charms, threads and craft materials to create beautiful pieces they can be proud of. Every session offers a new opportunity to experiment with colours, patterns, shapes and designs.

📚 What learning takes place?
Although Jewellery Making Club is primarily about having fun and being creative, there are lots of valuable learning opportunities.
Children will develop their fine motor skills through threading beads, tying, fastening, arranging and assembling materials. These activities require concentration, precision and careful hand movements.
Children will explore colour, pattern, shape, texture and design, learning how different combinations can create different effects. They will also develop basic planning skills by thinking about their design before they begin making it.
The club encourages children to problem-solve and persevere when something doesn't work as expected. They learn to make adjustments, try different techniques and keep going until they are happy with their creation.
There are also opportunities to develop maths skills, such as counting beads, creating repeating patterns, comparing sizes and organising materials.
Children will develop independence by making their own creative choices, while working alongside others encourages communication, sharing, cooperation and respect.
