Open Evenings

Things are obviously different this year and we are unable to offer our usual open days. We do however want to offer you an opportunity to visit school if you are considering applying for a place as we know how important it is to make an informed decision  about your child’s future.

.Our Headteacher, Mrs Jones, will therefore be offering socially distanced tours of our school. We have set the dates for these tours based on the current guidelines but if the situation changes we may need to cancel or rearrange. The current dates available are 4pm on:-

7th December 2020;

8th December 2020;

9th December 2020 (fully booked);

6th January 2021;

7th January 2021.

Places will be limited to 5 people for each evening. We would therefore request that only one person from each family attends. Everyone attending will need to wear a face covering (unless an exemption applies) Please contact us to book a place.

How to apply for a school place?

If your child is due to start school in September 2021, you will need to apply for a place by 5pm on 15 January 2021.

The admissions process is dealt with by Warwickshire County Council. You can find more information and the application form on their website:

Introduction from Mr Lester – Reception Teacher

Mr Lester prepared a useful video for this years new receception class which may also be helpful for you and your child when deciding whether to apply for a place at Cubbington in 2021. The children in particular will enjoy being able to see the classroom and outdoor space that they will explore during their first year at school.
